2019 PADA+YNGSPC Scholarship Information + Guidelines
YNGSPC is proud to offer a one-time scholarship to support artists for the PADA residency April 2019, subsidizing accommodation and studio costs for the residency period with the aim of encouraging artists without access to other forms of funding to attend.
The total value of the scholarship is €450, and will be applied directly to the recipient’s fees at PADA.

Who Can Apply: Artists also applying for a residency at PADA Studios during the April residency period, 3-30 April 2019. See below for specific eligibility criteria.
How the Funds are Awarded: The YNGSPC scholarship goes toward covering accommodation and studio fees at PADA during the residency period. The award is deducted directly from the residency fee. If the artist receives funds from another funding body, this scholarship will be awarded to an artist who does not have access to additional funding.
What else is involved: Scholarship recipient will be expected to present a talk, workshop, performance, or other participatory activity during the course of the month at PADA.

CRITERIA AND EVALUATION
Scholarships will be awarded to independent artists who are not attached to an entity that has a budget for professional development opportunities. Preference will be given to artists who have not yet participated in a residency program. Recipients will be selected on a competitive basis by Kate Mothes and the PADA team.
