How or when did you first become interested in art?
All my life I have been interested in the arts, but I was professional soccer player before, so all my attention was focus on that, and even though I was going to museums and galleries I never took the time to draw or paint.
It was after I stop playing soccer in 2008 that I decided to start painting, it was something that change my life, something that I always wanted to do and it was calling me.
Who or what are some of your biggest influences?
Every person that I’ve met, every place that i’ve been and my cultural heritage I believe is the perfect mix of inspiration and Influence in my work.
What is the most challenging or daunting thing about preparing a solo exhibition?
I think selecting the artwork, specially if you are curating the show you have to be careful and honest with your work, with yourself and with the public.
What has been your favorite experience or biggest accomplishment as an artist so far?
Been able to travel around the world and discover new places through my art, I’ve been in beautiful countries exhibiting my work, that and the people I’ve met along the way, is a blessing.
